General Questions

  • What kind of Pokémon cards do you sell? We offer a variety of Pokémon cards, including singles from various current and past expansions, sealed products (like booster packs and boxes), and sometimes graded cards. Keep an eye on our Shop for our latest inventory!
  • Are your cards authentic? Absolutely! We take authenticity very seriously. All of our cards are sourced from reputable distributors and are guaranteed to be genuine Pokémon TCG products.
  • Do you offer international shipping? Currently, we only ship within the United Kingdom, but we are working on expanding our shipping options in the future.
  • What is your return policy? Please see our Returns & Refunds Policy for detailed information on returns and refunds.
  • Why does my order not show any VAT? Great question! Top Dog Decks is currently not VAT registered, as our turnover is below the UK VAT threshold. This means that the prices you see on our website are the final prices you pay – there's no VAT added at checkout.

Ordering & Purchase Limits

  • Why do you have purchase limits on some items? At Top Dog Decks, our priority is our community. To ensure that our products are accessible to as many genuine collectors and players as possible, we've implemented purchase limits on high-demand items. This helps prevent large single orders that could limit availability for others and supports our goal of providing equitable opportunities for everyone to build their dream collections.
  • How do I know if an item has a purchase limit? The purchase limit for any given item will be clearly stated on the product page.
  • Can I place multiple orders to bypass the purchase limits? We ask that you respect our purchase limits and do not make multiple orders. We do monitor orders, and those attempting to circumvent these limits may have their orders adjusted or cancelled.
  • Can I cancel my order after it has been placed? Unfortunately, we are unable to cancel your order once it has been processed and/or shipped. If you cancel your order BEFORE it has been processed and/or shipped, it may be subject to a 50p cancellation fee to cover the charges for refunds by the credit card companies.

Card Condition & Grading

  • What condition are your single cards in? We strive to describe the condition of all our single cards accurately. Please refer to the individual product listing for specific details on the card's condition. We generally offer cards ranging from near mint to lightly played.
  • How do you grade your cards? At Top Dog Decks, our experienced staff visually inspect and grade all cards under well-lit conditions, adhering to the standards set by Cardmarket. Please note that our grading is in-house and not a detailed professional grading.   • Do you offer graded cards? Occasionally, we may have professionally graded cards available. These will be clearly marked as graded and will include the grading company and grade in the product title and description.

Packaging & Shipping

  • How do you package single cards? We take great care in packaging your single card orders to ensure they arrive safely! Each single card is first placed in a protective sleeve. It is then inserted into a rigid top-loader for maximum protection against bending and damage. Finally, this is securely shipped in a sturdy, hard-backed envelope.


 

  • How do you package multiple cards?
    For orders containing multiple single cards, each card is individually protected in a single sleeve and then placed in a rigid top-loader. These are then bundled securely and shipped in a bubble mailer or padded envelope to provide cushioning during transit.
  • What are your shipping costs? 
    Shipping costs vary depending on the destination and the weight of your order. You can see the exact shipping cost at checkout before completing your purchase. 
  • How long will it take to receive my order?
    Delivery times vary depending on your location and the shipping method you select at checkout. We aim to process and ship orders within 1-2 business days. 
  • I've entered the wrong shipping address, can I change it?
    If this happens, email us as soon as possible. We might be able to take care of it. However, we can't promise anything as all our items are usually processed immediately after you order and shipped out the same day or a few days after. If your order has already entered the shipping process, we won't be able to stop it.
    We will not be held responsible if you enter an incomplete and/or incorrect shipping address. Our system automatically processes orders and follows what you supply.
